How does a Team-Building Event work?

You already know the benefits of TTRPGs and have seen our different offers, but you’re still wondering what a team-building event with us actually looks like? Here’s the answer!

A TTRPG like Dungeons & Dragons is a narrative, cooperative role-playing game. The players (your team) step into the shoes of fictional characters. Together with the Game Master, experience an adventure in a fantastical world. This could be a medieval setting with magic (The Lord of the Rings), our real-world setting, or a distant sci-fi future in another galaxy. The Game Master describes the world and embodies every creature, NPC, and challenge, while you shape the story, through dialogue, dice rolls, and decisions. The focus can be on solving puzzles, interacting with each other, exciting battles, or a mix of everything.

So, how does it all go down?

We set a date together and discuss what kind of experience you want and your goals or needs. At the agreed-upon date, we meet either in our gamerooms or at your chosen location. The Game Master brings everything: dice, pens, rules, character sheets. You don’t have to worry about a thing.

Once we’re all at the table, your GM will explain the rules and we’ll discuss what themes and topics are welcome in the game and which are absolute no-gos. Got questions? We’re happy to answer them at any time.

Then, the GM will introduce the game world: When and where your adventure takes place. You may be on a clear mission or following wherever catches your curiosity. Together, we’ll create your characters or pick from pre-made options. Who’s playing the wise wizard? Will the Head of HR pick the wild barbarian or the sneaky thief?

Once everyone has a character, the real fun begins. You act as your chosen character would. You have complete freedom; Does your rogue want to sneak into the palace’s Treasury? Does the wizard want to explore the ancient elven ruins? Together, we shape your unique story.

After your adventure wraps up, we take a moment to debrief. What did we learn? Where did the team shine? Is there something we’d tackle differently next time?
